JASON WINSHELL PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a professional photographer, artist, and aficionado of the ordinary.  My love of photographing everyday life led to an art career, a nomination for the SFMOMA SECA Art Award, and a published book of my work.

I am also a reporter and photographer for the SF Public Press.  In a past life I programmed computers.  While working at Pixar I was badly beaten at ping-pong by John Lasseter.  About once a month I'm mistaken for Steven Spielberg.

The focus of my professional work is "people photography."  I shoot studio and environmental portraiture, editorial, news, and documentary photography.  Please contact me for information on photography services or purchasing prints of my artwork.
